How to improve the bonding strength of rubber sound basin?

The sound basin is an important part of the speaker, if without the sound basin, the speaker cannot speak properly. The PP tone basin is low in distortion, suitable for all kinds of music. But we found that the rubber edge of the PP tone basin is difficult to bonding firmly with the speaker.

This is reason : first, the rubber material has a large molecular, the surface does not have enough wettability and chemical stability, it is difficult to high polymer molecular chain diffusion and entanglement, so it cannot form strong adhesion . Second: When the speaker sounds, the sound basin is constantly vibration by the influence of sound waves, and the conduction of force makes the rubber adhesion constantly pull off and produce deformation, causing the rubber to fall off more easily.

In order to change the bonding performance of the rubber , some people choose to use chemical agents to enhance the roughness of the surface for improve the bonding effect. But this way has been larger disadvantages. Firstly , chemical agent has strong irritation, it is difficult to accurately grasp the operation dosage. Secondly, the burden of the environment and human body is very big, not only improve the production cost, but also damage the original material base. Now using the characteristics of the plasma cleaning machine, the surface treatment of rubber can effectively improve the adhesion layer adhesion, while without any damage and pollution.

Because the sound basin is irregular geometric surface and light quality, using vacuum equipment is the optimal solution. In the process of treatment, the material will be evenly covered by the plasma in the vacuum chamber. Even for the concave and convex surface, the high energy generated by the plasma volatile discharge can still accurately bombarded on the surface of the material. It only takes a few minutes to improve the adhesion of the rubber surface of the material.
