Compared to PBT, PET has higher heat resistance and surface finish.
PET is a milky white or light yellow highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. Its creep resistance, fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance and other characteristics make it have the greatest toughness among thermoplastics. Therefore, when PET needs to be bonded with other materials, due to its extremely smooth surface, if ordinary old-fashioned processes such as grinding and using chemicals are used, not only the product is damaged, but also the efficiency and quality are relatively low.

Three products were treated in each group, and the bonding effects of different production processes under the same conditions were compared. Our experiments have verified that the PET cleaned by the vacuum plasma cleaner is much stronger than the PET produced by the old-fashioned process. And in the cleaning process, the low-temperature plasma contacts the circuit board above the PET, and the surface circuit is not damaged, and there is no deformation and discoloration.
Since this medical electrode product needs to be used on the human body, we then bonded the PET and hydrogel cleaned by the plasma cleaning machine to the human body for testing. After fifteen minutes of application, when the product was uncovered again, the hydrogel was still firmly adhered to the PET and no hydrogel remained on the skin. Therefore, the verification results show that the bonding effect of the product processed by the vacuum plasma cleaner meets the inspection standard.
