The roller plasma cleaner can successfully improve the hydrophilicity of PE (polyethylene) powder. Based on the particularity of powder materials, vacuum drum plasma cleaner can be used for treatment. The advantages of this machine are:

Vacuum equipment has two modes: automatic and manual. Automatic mode greatly saves labor cost and improves production efficiency. The final question we face after the process is, how do we verify the success of the process?
In order to verify whether the hydrophilicity of the treated powder has changed or not, we randomly selected an appropriate amount of the untreated PE powder and the treated powder and placed it in a water cup filled with water. The results showed that the powder without plasma treatment was floating on the water surface with no obvious change in color and no signs of wetting. The powder after plasma treatment was soaked in water, the color became darker and obviously showed signs of wetting. Based on the above hydrophilicity test, the hydrophilicity of PE thermoplastic powder after plasma treatment has been significantly improved.
After sending the product back to the customer, we received feedback recently that the treated sample successfully passed the test and the hydrophilic effect met the requirements of the product.
