1. Car headlights
Headlight is an essential part of the car, playing a huge role in night lighting, steering and other aspects, is an important guarantee for the safety of the car. In automobile production, in order to seal the lighting mirror and the lamp shell, the headlight must be glued with sealant. The effect of sealant should meet the requirements of good sealing, stable adhesive layer, firm bonding, anti-fogging, etc., and the reasons affecting the effect in addition to the quality of sealant, the surface tension of the headlight will also affect the presentation of the effect.
In general, the headlight sealant is mainly hot melt butyl adhesive, heat reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive and silicone sealant. These three kinds have good heat resistance, low temperature resistance, ultraviolet resistance and other properties. However, the surface of the headlights made of polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) is very smooth, and the sealant is difficult to adhere firmly for a long time, so it must be pre-treated before bonding.
The use of atmospheric pressure plasma processor can activate the parts that need to be glued, from non-polar to tension enhanced surface, improve the adhesion performance of the sealant, so as to ensure that the lamp is firmly glued and long-term sealing.
2. Brake pads
The brake pad is the most important part in the automobile brake system, and the brake pad plays a decisive role in the timely braking. Brake pads are generally composed of steel plate, adhesive heat insulation layer and friction block, steel plate to be coated to prevent rust, the use of plasma processor surface treatment, can effectively remove oil and pollutants on the surface of the steel plate, make the coating adhere more firmly, and after plasma treatment, steel sheet can obtain more long-term corrosion resistance.
3. EPDM seal strip
EPDM sealing strip is EPDM sealing strip or rubber strip, which has strong elasticity, wear resistance, heat resistance, ozone resistance and water resistance. It is often used in the production and manufacturing of automobiles, such as doors and Windows sealing, hydraulic brake hose and sealing ring, air conditioning ventilation pipes and so on. It is a kind of rubber material with excellent comprehensive properties.
But unfortunately, EPDM is a low polarity material, the surface tension is not enough to make the adhesive spread on the rubber surface, and before the EPDM seal needs to be sprayed with lubricating coating or flocking glue, plasma pretreatment can make the rubber surface chemical and physical clean, improve the surface moisture-friendly, can make the coating and glue and seal more firmly.
4. Vehicle electrical instrument table
Automotive electronics, vehicle electrical instrument table, after plasma bombardment can remove the surface of pollutants and excess grease, and get more adhesive high-quality surface, in the glue, so that the colloid can fully wet and spread the surface of the material, and to meet the long-term requirements of not falling off.
